RESERVATION PROCESS FOR OUTDOOR WEDDING SITES

Please review these instructions before applying.

Reservations for wedding sites can be requested starting one year in advance of your event date. Wedding sites cannot be reserved more than one year in advance. Many of our wedding sites are highly desirable, so we strongly recommend you complete and submit the below request form exactly one year in advance of your preferred date. For example, if you want to reserve March 1, 2021, you should complete and submit the form on March 1, 2020.

Request Forms Received EXACTLY One Year in Advance: Should we receive more than one request form for the same date, time, and location our office will conduct a randomized lottery to determine who will receive the reservation. NOTE: Only one request form can be entered into the randomized lottery, per event, per date. Winners will be notified within 5-7 business days.

Request Forms Received LESS THAN One Year in Advance: Request forms received less than one year in advance are processed on a first-come-first-serve basis. Please note, requests for Fay Park and Lafayette Park must be received, at minimum, three weeks in advance of the requested date.

INDOOR FACILITIES
The following sites are not included in our Wedding Site Directory, but are available for reservation. To apply for one of these sites, do NOT complete this form. Please follow the guidance below:
GARDENS OF GOLDEN GATE PARK

This form is not a reservation or a permit, this is a request for a site on a specific date. Our team will review all requests and follow up with you to confirm availability. Should we receive more than one request for the same date, time, and location, our office will conduct a randomized lottery.

Note: None of our outdoor wedding sites can accommodate amplified sound. A small battery-powered speaker is permittable for human voice during ceremony, speeches, and ambient ceremony music. Acoustic music may be permitted.

Application Processing

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT:  The above information is complete and correct to the best of my knowledge.  I understand that the permit is granted on the basis of the information supplied in the application, and that the permit may be denied or revoked if found to be incorrect and/or incomplete. If my event changes, I must file a new amended application. I further understand that the City may monitor the event, and that failure to comply with any conditions placed on the permit approval or local law my result in the immediate revocation of the permit.
