COVID-19 SAFETY GUIDELINES
Please arrive by 10:00am.
The church doors will be locked by 10:15am
. Sorry - no exceptions.
Park your vehicle in the church parking lot.
Follow all social distance signs, ground markings, and verbal instructions from the Parish Council.
Walk up to the sidewalk with your mask on, following social distancing protocol (6 feet of space between other parishioners or a family group).
2 Parish Council members will greet you by the church entrance. They will check to make sure that your family is on the registration list.
If you are not on the registration list, you cannot enter the church
as we must abide by NYS law for the number of individuals permitted in the church at this time.
If you wish to light a yellow candle, a Parish Council member will hand a candle to you. If you wish to light a red 7-day candle, a Parish Council member will hold the candle while you light it and will then place it in front of the icon requested.
Please note that you must bring exact change to place in the Donation Box
If you would like to venerate an icon, please bow your head and pray in front of the icon.
Please do not kiss the icon.
A Parish Council member will usher you/your family to a pew
Holy Communion will be given at the end of the Divine Liturgy
. Please follow the Parish Council member's instructions.
Trays will not be passed out at the end of liturgy. Instead, collection bowls will be placed in front of the altar (on each side) for those who wish to make a donation.
If you are receiving Holy Communion, follow the Parish Council usher's instructions and the social distance markings laid out on the church floor to show you where to stand and wait until it is your turn. Families are permitted to stand together and will be communed together.
Upon approaching the chalice, do not touch the cloth.
After receiving communion, please leave using center aisle to walk out of the church.
Those not receiving communion will be ushered at the same time.
A Parish Council member will give you a small ziploc bag with the antidoron at the back of the church.
After exiting the church, parishioners should return directly to their vehicle in the parking lot without congregating or lingering, and exit the church grounds.
