You are invited to light a virtual candle for yourself and for loved ones during this pandemic, while we are sheltered in place and, thus, unable to light a candle in real time. Candles are lit before icons as a sign of one’s faith and hope in God’s help, which is always sent to all who turn to Him and His Saints with faith and prayers. When we light a candle, it helps us remember that Jesus is the light of the world.
As we come together during this difficult time our prayers are as important as ever. The Church of St Paraskevi looks to provide you with ways to maintain these important activities of our faith. May God’s light keep you and your loved ones well.
