Independent learning allows coaches to source quality and relevant CPD that is based on their needs and interests. CPD credits are awarded upon successful reflection of learning, once reviewed and approved by the LTA.
For more information on what forms of independent learning are accepted and recognised by the LTA, please visit the Independent Learning homepage.
Applications are assessed on a case-by-case basis and CPD credits are awarded to genuine educational experiences that are considered above and beyond your day-to-day activities, and that have been completed in the last 12 months.
For First Aid courses, please submit your certificate here.
The purpose of this form is to help the LTA Coach Development Team to understand the learning you have taken part in and how it will impact your coaching. In order for your application to be taken into consideration answers should be detailed and thorough. To protect the integrity of the CPD system, coaches who do not provide adequate reflection of learning will not have CPD credits allocated.
On this form you can apply for up to 3 learning activities. You will be asked to provide:
- Personal details
- Activity overview
- Documentation of completion where applicable (e.g. a certificate)
- Reflection of learning i.e. how it will impact your coaching
