Please note, the job description/role should align with the minimum qualification. It is also important to consider the experience and training of a candidate when recruiting - not just the qualification in isolation. The below information may help you to decide what your minimum qualification requirements are;
 
The LTA Assistant (Level 1) trains candidates to assist the delivery of group coaching sessions and tennis activity, under the direct supervision of a coach that is at least a Level 2 Accredited coach
 
The LTA Instructor (Level 2) trains candidates to lead the delivery of group coaching and tennis activity sessions Best practice would be to work under a more experienced and qualified coach for guidance, mentoring and/or support. However, this is not a mandatory requirement from the LTA
 
The LTA Coach (Level 3) is the first award in the LTA pathway that specifically covers the competencies linked to delivering bespoke technical/tactical instruction i.e. private lessons/1to1 coaching. The LTA Coach (Level 3) curriculum builds on the Level 2 qualification, and covers a significantly wider range of competencies that support the role of a full time coaching professional.

LTA Senior Performance Coach (Level 4) trains coaches to work with performance players in a performance
environment, manage a team of coaches, and specialises in player development at the national U14 level
 
LTA Master Coach (Level 5) trains candidates to manage a team of coaches, they are trained how to mentor them, manage club programmes and implement new structures/products as well as deliver high quality sessions to all types of development/recreational participants
 
LTA Master Performance Coach (Level 5) trains coaches to work with performance players in a performance
environment, manage a team of coaches, and scecialises with athletes from U14 international level to Futures level.
