Player Oath of Conduct

As an athlete, I(we) pledge to uphold the teaching, tradition and mission of the Greek Orthodox Church. I(we) pledge to comply with all bylaws, guidelines, rules and regulations and to show proper respect to all clergy, adults and peers. Furthermore, for the good of the Church and the athletic events, I(we) will:
• Behave in a manner befitting an Orthodox Christian
• Maintain self-control, refrain from using profanity or profane gestures
• Show respect in defeat, modesty in victory, and courtesy and respect to sports officials, authorities, teammates and opponents
• Play the game fairly and to the best of my(our) ability and accept the outcome graciously. I(we) understand that the purpose of the program is to participate in athletic events, experience Orthodox fellowship, have fun and grow in my relationship with Jesus Christ.
