As a prelude to Just Mercy author Bryan Stevenson’s appearance at the Faith & Action Fall Event, Christian Theological Seminary is offering resources for faith partners to engage in group dialogues about the documentary True Justice: Bryan Stevenson’s Fight for Equality. The customized Discussion Guide was created by Michael Twyman, who works relentlessly to drive more equitable outcomes for Indianapolis’ marginalized populations. The guide will prepare groups to view the film and then engage in meaningful discussions about the issues it raises. Faith groups interested in hosting True Justice discussion events can apply for grant support through the Faith & Action Project. Designed to be a catalyst for discussion, engagement, advocacy and action against racism, the discussion guide will be emailed after your application is reviewed.
To encourage faith communities and others to discuss the documentary, the Faith & Action Project is offering $200 stipends to those who hold a public screening and multi-week discussion of the film.
Please submit this form at least three weeks before your proposed event to receive the stipend.
