10+males (age 14+)
10+females (age 14+)
2 children age 8-12 to play the roles of Jane & Michael Banks
15 + youth for the children's chorus (Appear in 2+ numbers and scenes)
Strong dancers
 
Performances are July 31-August 2 2015 at UW Manitowoc University Theater.

NOTE: 
Actors must prepare 16 bars of a Musical Theater Peice that showcases your strength. Ipod Dock & Piano will be provided. If needed, please provide your own accompanist. ACAPELLA AUDITIONS ARE DISCOURAGED
 
Although not required at this audition, actors are encouraged to present a 1 minute or less prepared monologue that showcases your acting ability. 
 
Auditions consist of singing with the music director and dancing with the Dance Captains.
 
Actors will only be called when working on their scenes. Depending on the size of the role, Many actors will rehearse more than 3 times a week.
 
Youth roles (other than Michael and Jane) will rehearse Tuesdays & Wednesdays. Additional days will be added in July.
 
First rehearsal is June 1. This is a Mandatory Parent meeting at which families will choose their family participation requirement projects.

** PRODUCTION REQUIREMENTS, per actor **

To offset the costs of this production, there is a $50 participation fee due from all performers along with a family participation fee.  This fee is used to offset the cost of scripts, royalties, costumes and other production needs.

THERE IS A $200 BUY OUT OPTION for actors who would prefer to make a donation of money rather than take on an offstage role.

Participation fee will be waived for an actor if an the actor (or a family member) also takes on one of the following leadership roles:

Ad Sales (sell 10 ads or ovations in the playbill)
Sponsor (Solicit possible Sponsors)
Volunteer Coordinator
Ad Sales Coordinator
Promotions Coordinator (distributes posters and makes sure they are put up by June 29th)
Playbill Layout
Rehearsal Assistant
