Prayer Ministry

Thank you for your interest in serving on the Prayer Ministry team Team at Bethel Austin. The Bethel Austin Prayer Ministry team is an invitation only group. Everyone is encouraged to pursue the ministry of prayer in their own lives, however the Prayer team represents and ministers on behalf of Bethel ATX during the service as well as remotely.

As such, we have an application process that we ask you to complete. Once your application has been reviewed, we’ll connect with you. If the fit is right for both you and us, you will be invited to join as a Level 1 prayer minister. As a level 1 minister, you will shadow another team member to observe. After that, you will be released to minister.

We love creating an environment of authenticity, accountability and safety so please be assured that none of the questions on the application automatically qualify/disqualify you from serving as a prayer minister and will be handled with strict confidentiality.

Requirements along with application

Completion of the Elements class
Take the Prayer Ministry (PM) training class
Attend an interview with prayer ministry leaders
A SOZO session is required upon joining the team (discount is offered to PM’s).
Commit to serving on a service team at least once every 6 weeks (ex. Parking, usher etc.)
Commit to attend church frequently, pursue community, and personal growth in Jesus.
Commit to the schedule, as well as PM team meetings (about quarterly).
Attend Pre-service revival when on PM duty, but not while on serving team duty

Intercessor Team

Thank you for your interest in serving on the Intercessor Team at Bethel Austin. The Bethel Austin Intercessor Group is an invitation only group. Everyone is an intercessor and we definitely want everyone to pray, however our assignment is specific to the church, the church leaders, and their assignments and callings.

As such we have an application process that we ask you to complete. Once your application has been reviewed, we’ll connect with you and if the fit is right for both you and us, you will be invited to join us for a trial period of 6 weeks. During this time you’ll be with us for both our in-person and virtual meetings. At the end of this trial period, we’ll meet together to discuss the next steps.

Please note the requirements for being part of the team, which can be found at the beginning of the application.

Once your application is submitted, we’ll let you know if you need to book a SOZO session and give you the info you need in order to do so.

Prophetic Art

Bethel Austin’s prophetic art team carries an important role in our weekly worship service, and within the community. As we partner with Holy Spirit in using our gifts and talents, the overflow of our heart impacts the atmosphere of the room. As such, it is important that placement on the team is a good fit for both the applicant and the team.
