Gyotaku (Fish Printing)

Have you every wanted to make an exact replica of a fish you've caught? Join a ranger in learning about fish printing, also known as Gyotaku. We'll have replicas of fish that you can use to make your very own print! We provide all materials needed. 

Where: CCC Rec Hall
When: 2:30-3:30pm
Bring: Yourself! We have some aprons to protect your clothes from paint, but you may want to wear clothes you wouldn't mind getting paint on just in case.

 

Details:

  • Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the duration of the program.
  • Program is free with park entrance ($5/person, children 12 & under are free) or Texas State Parks Annual Pass.
  • The program may be canceled if no participants are present within 10 minutes of the start time, or in the case of inclement weather.
  • For groups larger than eight, please contact Ranger Sara for a private event
