Join rangers in this beginner-friendly program to learn about the basics of kayaking and kayaking safety, and then get a chance to try your skills in the shallow waters of Fish Pass! All equipment and guided tour are provided.
Bring: Clothing that can get wet, a change of clothes, sun protection, water, and a snack (rinse off water if you prefer) and close toe shoes (no flip flops please). All other equipment will be provided by the park, including kayaks, personal floatation devices, and paddles.
Cost: Free with park admission. Park admission is $7 for everyone 13 years and older, free for 12 and under.
Meet: in the headquarters parking lot by 9:45 am for a safety briefing before caravaning to the launch location.
