Goose Island Birding Festival Litter Pickup

Registration is required for this program, and must be completed at least 48 hours in advance.

Join Goose Island and Keep Aransas County Beautiful volunteers in a litter pickup of St. Charles Bay! Must be at least 12 years old to participate. We provide all equipment needed, however participants can provide their own kayak if they would like. Please notify us if you plan on bringing your own kayak. You can expect to spend about 1-1.5 hours on the water.

After registering, you will receive an email on how to prepare for the paddling trip, including information on proper clothing.

This program is weather-dependent. An email address and phone number must be provided when registering in case we have to cancel.

FYI:

Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the duration of the program.
This program is best suited for those who have experience in kayaking. Check out calendar this summer for more beginner options.
This program is part of the Goose Island Birding Festival. Entrance fees are waived during the entire event.
