Winterim Financial Assistance Application

Any Upper School family can apply for financial assistance for Winterim. OES support for Winterim is need-based. Families can apply for assistance for local, domestic, and international courses every year.

Families are asked to submit tax documents to support their application, and might be asked for additional supporting documents. Families that receive flexible tuition for the current academic year are not required to upload tax documents.

Financial Information

In order to be considered for Winterim financial assistance, please upload a copy of your most recently completed federal tax return. The supplemental aid committee of flexible tuition will not consider applications for Winterim financial assistance without tax documents. Families that receive flexible tuition for the current academic year are not required to upload tax documents.

Both custodial and non-custodial parents must submit tax documents, which might require the submission of more than one application for the same student.

Notification and Logistics

Our goal is to notify families of the financial assistance amount via email the same day students are given their course assignments. Families are asked to formally accept the Winterim financial assistance amount by responding to the email they receive from flexible tuition. After enrollment in a Winterim course is finalized, the appropriate credit will be applied to your student’s account.

If you accept financial assistance for an international or domestic Winterim course this year, your student is not guaranteed financial assistance for another international or domestic course in a future year. Students may still participate in one of these courses without OES financial assistance. OES would like to enable all students in the Upper School to participate in at least one international or domestic Winterim course during their time in the Upper School.
