1. Must be 21 or older to play.
2. First game must begin by 10 minutes after start time or 1st game will be forfeited. If play does not start within 15 minutes of scheduled start time, all games will be forfeited by late team.
3. No glass outside of bar area.
4. Must play all three games.
5. No minimum number of players will be required.
6. Games are all played to 15 points with a 2 point lead (including Rally).
7. Must have equal or greater number of women players.
8. Both teams must agree on the game ball used or it will default to an O'Brien's Pub ball.
9. When a team hits the volleyball over the net:
a. Two hits can involved two women or a man and a woman.
b. Three hits can involve three women or a combination of both genders.
10. Start of match:
a. First game volley for serve or side.
b. Second game loser starts.
c. Third game volley for serve or side and you can switch sides when combined score reaches 15.
11. Serving:
a. If the ball hits the net and goes over, it will be considered a good ball and in play. If the ball goes out of bounds after hitting the net, the opposing team will receive the next serve.
b. Block a serve is OK.
c. Setting a serve is OK.
d. No spiking on a serve is permitted.
12. Games are refereed on honor system.
13. Each match is allotted 1 hour of time. Teams are responsible to keep the games moving along.
14. Players may jump into game as they arrive.
15. It is each team's responsibility to fill out, sign and turn in the score sheet to the bartender at the end of each match.
16. Winner's bracket will be standard scoring; consolation bracket will change to rally scoring.
