International Society for Anaesthetic Pharmacology Officers & Board of Directors Nominations

The Nominating Committee of ISAP is considering nominations for members of the Board of Directors and Officers of the Society. Elections will be held at the ISAP 20th Annual Meeting on October 14, 2011 at the Omni Hotel in Chicago, Illinois.

Open Positions: The President-Elect automatically assumes the position of President. However, other offices open for election this year include: President-Elect, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer. Additionally, there are (2) Director positions available. Directors serve a two (2) year term with the possibility to be re-elected to a second- two (2) year term.

Requirements: Nominees must be a current member of ISAP. The Nominating Committee also seeks candidates with prior volunteer service to ISAP and geographic diversity including international representation.

Board of Director Commitment

Duties: The Board of Directors has two scheduled meetings each year. The spring meeting is held during the IARS Annual Congress and the fall meeting is held in conjunction with the ISAP Annual Meeting just prior to the American Society of Anesthesiologists meeting. Members of the Board are expected to attend both meetings.
